Psalm 1
Blessed is the one who does not keep with the greedful,
or make company of liars,
or delight in tlazolli.
One should humbly accept the gifts of the Gods,
and meditate on that by which we live.
Like a tree nourished by the blue water, the jade water,
yielding fruit in all seasons,
with leaf that does not wither,
and which flourishes under sun and moon.
Not so the forgetful-
they are like dust swept by the winds.
They cannot stand before the Gods,
as the petty cannot stand among the righteous.
For the Gods guard the path,
and the ways of the insatiable will perish.
